Austin American-Statesman Entertainment Editor Michael Barnes…he's on the VIP list at every hot spot in town, while you're waiting in line with all the other schlubs. Michael stopped in to talk about the changing face of the city, and keeping up with Austin's beautiful people.

I thought that Stephen Rice was a wonderful cohost. He is naturally hilarious and so very quick witted, I loved his banter with Heath and Michael. I would love to listen to him on a regular basis. Great show!
Thanks for listening Bob! We'll see if we can convince Stephen to be a more regular contributor!
Much like Bob Conner, above, everyone here at The Little Yarn Shoppe of Horrors thoroughly enjoyed last Sunday's program. Mr. Barnes was great; what a pleasure to tune in and hear Mr. Fish -- I mean Stephen Rice, of course; and this may well have been Douglas Plummer's spiffiest essay so far.
I can't tell you how wonderful it is to hear the voice of my gay prom date, Mr. Stephen Rice. Now everyone will realize how delightful and talented he is. Encore, encore!
Hilarious! My girlfriends are going to love this........
Heath and Stephen's banter made me cackle and Michael Barnes' Austin comments were dead on. A perfect 30 minute romp with Stephen's saucy quips. Funny and smart - on my Sunday playlist with a bullet!
Stephen Rice was fabulous as the co-host! His humor and quick wit added to the program and brought in a new dimension. And what a great radio voice. He most certainly should be a regular!! Signed - Stephen's Mom
OK! We want to know who the hell is in Stephen's publicity department.
Stephen was refreshing and quite engaging! As aleady stated, a very quick wit. Definitely second the encore! encore! (lighter waving in the background chanting "Stephen, Stephen...")
Yes, just as the anonymous e-mail instructed me, I will praise Stephen Fish/Rice as your brilliant and quick-witted co-host, Heath -- though it did pain me greatly to hear my own former BFF and indentured servant pander (yes, I said pander) to Michael Barnes, audibly salivating as he gushed about wanting to be Michael's apprentice. Stephen Fish/Rice whatever is under iron-clad contract to me for the rest of this century and he knows it. That and the fact that his vacuous delivery of the upcoming events was so completely devoid of charm, leads me to beg you, Heath, to get someone really classy to co-host when I am on your show on Sept. 21 - like Kathy Lee Gifford.
BTW, who is providing my transportation, wardrobe, hair and makeup needs for the 21st? (Oh, and as you'll see in one of my contract riders, I always prefer the White Gardenia scented candles from Votivo to be scattered here and there around the studio, and of course you'll have the car and driver wait to rush me back to the OctoTea Dance afterwards where I'm being auctioned off for charity.) Love and Kittens, Stephen "Your Style Avatar" Moser
Stephen IS a quick wit. I enjoyed listening to him alongside Heath. I hope he comes back!
